Sand, wood, stone, paper and clay are some of the natural surfaces and structures to be found in the Beyond Colour wallpaper collection. “Incorporating natural tones into the home is a trend that is enduring, and with wallpaper you don’t just get the colours but also the structure and materials that create a deeper, cosier feel," explains Madeleine Sidemo, Head of Design for Eco Wallpaper.
Nature gives us comfort and warmth. It is hardly surprising that we feel happy in shades inspired by the forests, cliffs, sea and meadows.
“Beyond Colour is a collection of wallpapers with clear and embossed delicate surfaces and a strong material sense that give depth to a room and a warm ambiance,” says Madeleine.
There are 14 patterns in the collection. Sense of wood is a design that truly brings the forest to our living rooms, creating a three-dimensional sense of long rough wooden planks. There are two different colour schemes: one with a lighter wood and one with a slightly greyish surface. One of the other designs is called Clay, which is available in seven different shimmering surfaces similar to clay. It consists of several layers and shades, depending on the angle and light. A third pattern is called Wrinkle poetry and is a playful design with a feeling of thin light paper that ripples and creates waves on the walls.
Beyond Colour consists of 14 wallpaper designs in several different colour schemes. There will be a total of 36 items in the collection.
